Ergonomics for Entrepreneurs:
Protect Your Greatest Asset
with Kelly Martin, PT
________
Every entrepreneur knows the stress of running a business. We hustle hard, pouring everything we have into our work, but what happens when the pressure starts to wear us down? Even minor issues can activate your “Fight or Flight” nervous system, leading to increased muscle tension and altered breathing patterns.
As a business owner, you are the driving force behind your business, but how often do you take a few minutes to protect your most valuable asset — your body? The long, stressful hours on a laptop can lead to pain and long-term health issues that can limit your career down the road. The good news is that you don’t need an expensive office setup to work comfortably!
Join us this month as Kelly Martin, PT, shares simple ergonomic techniques and exercises designed to:
- Regulate the sympathetic nervous system
- Alleviate pain
- Enhance posture
These activities can be done daily as part of your bedtime routine or during a walk — they're even designed for use while interacting with clients or colleagues!
